PPC sells 15% to black investors for R2,7bn

CEMENT manufacturer PPC today announced the sale of 15% of its equity to black investors for R2,7bn.

The company said in a statement to the JSE that the broad-based black economic empowerment (BEE) transaction would see community service groups, employees, education and industry associations trusts as well as strategic black owners owning a part of the company.
