PPC's Heps up eight percent
JOHANNESBURG - Pretoria Portland Cement boasted headline earnings per share of 283 cents -- an increase of eight percent -- for the year ended September 30, 2008, the continent's largest cement producer said on Tuesday.
Headline earnings per share is used in SA as the main indicator of profit -- it does not take into consideration capital and extraordinary items.
