Price discounts Vodacom BEE deal
Vodacom's market capitalisation, recorded after its listing on Monday, shows that black economic empowerment (BEE) partners overpaid for their slice of the cellular operator.
The firm also announced this week that its dividend payout would decrease significantly, which means it may take longer for the BEE partners to pay their debt with dividends.
