R9bn smack for Telkom

The termination of the talks between Telkom, MTN and Vodafone, wiped R9bn off Telkom's market value in morning trade, as the market took the blue sky out of the equation and the shares fell as much as 10.9% at one stage.  


Disappointingly for some, this also means that Vodacom will no longer be listed separately on the JSE, something Vodafone had said would make sense.
