SA businesswomen acquire shares in Tawana

JSE-listed diamond explorer Tawana Resources on Tuesday welcomed well-known businesswomen Basetsana Kumalo and Lindiwe Leketi as new Tawana shareholders through a transaction with their investment company Pro Direct 189.




Tawana said it acquired Pro Direct's 21% stake in Tawana's black economic-empowerment (BEE) partner Seven Falls Trading 155. The consideration for the acquisition was 2 125 600 Tawana shares, giving Pro Direct a holding of 2,09% in Tawana.
