Samancor Chrome sells BEE stake
The parent firm of South Africa's Samancor Chrome, the world's No 2 ferrochrome producer, said on Wednesday it will sell a 28% stake to a black-owned consortium headed by a former government official...
The black empowerment deal by Kermas South Africa is to comply with a government programme aiming to involve more majority blacks in the mainstream economy after being excluded during apartheid.
