Sanyati now among main board construction firms

Black-empowered civil engineering and construction firm Sanyati Holdings last moved from the AltX to the main board of the JSE, a move that CEO Rick Jackson said would raise its profile by another notch and ensure that it was recognised as a serious player in the construction sector.

Jackson noted that the group was currently being compared with other AltX companies, and although these were good companies, it wanted to be compared with small to medium-sized capital companies in the construction sector listed on the main board.
