SA's schools 'not delivering the goods'
If companies settle for the same low standards as those accepted in matric examinations and wait for the education system to produce the kind of skills they need, then businesses throughout SA will grind to a halt.
This is according to John Botha of the Production Management Institute (part of the Adcorp Group), whose comments come in the wake of ongoing criticism that the increased pass rate in the 2010 matric results says nothing about improvements in quality.
