Sasol cheers sustainability

Johannesburg - Chemical and fuels giant Sasol on Wednesday said its focus on sustainable development had again yielded positive results.



"Our safety performance continues to improve with our group-wide recordable case rate (RCR) decreasing by 31 percent from 0.72 in 2007 to 0.50 in 2008," said chief executive Pat Davies at the release of the company's sustainable development report for 2008 in Johannesburg.
