Sasol's Bheki Khumalo to step down

Petrochemicals giant Sasol announced on Friday that government relations, corporate affairs and black economic-empowerment (BEE) GM Bheki Khumalo had decided to leave the group.

Khumalo, previously President Thabo Mbeki's spokesperson, said that he had contributed to improvements in the areas he was responsible for in the group, and would seek new challenges outside the petrochemicals environment.
