SDFs voice concerns over new Skills Strategy

The Association for Skills Development Facilitation in South Africa has spent much of the past month scrutinising the provisions of the third phase of the National Skills Development Strategy (NSDS3).



The ASDFSA has studied comments by the Minister of Higher Education and Training, Dr Blade Nzimande, on Seta (sector education and training authority) performance and -governance as well as the state of education and the involvement of the public sector in skills development. These comments were contained in his announcement of the Seta landscape and remarks he made to Seta chief executive officers to their monthly forum last December, both of which created context for NSDS3.
