Sexwale, Zim team up in R173m Sahara deal
Indian computer multinational Sahara Holdings has sold 27% of its equity in its South African business for R173-million to an empowerment consortium comprising Tokyo Sexwale’s Mvelaphanda Holdings, Lazarus Zim’s Afripalm and employees...
The transaction price was calculated using a 33,33% black economic-empowerment (BEE) discount against an enterprise valuation of R960-million.
