Shift in mining sector contracting strategies
Specialist legal and commercial consult-ancy MDA Consulting director Vaughan Hattingh says there is a shift in larger capital projects within the mining sector towards contracting strategies.
This requires effective risk sharing between the contracting parties and allocation of risk onto the shoulders of the contracting party best suited to carry that risk.
