South Africa: Youth Fund's Database, Expertise 'Can Help Business Earn BEE Points'

BIG business should tap into the Umsobomvu Youth Fund's (UYF's) database and expertise to help it gain broad-based black economic empowerment (BBBEE) points, UYF CEO Malose Kekana said yesterday.



Businesses with annual revenue of more than R35m are governed by a BEE scorecard that has seven elements -ownership, management control, employment equity, skills development, preferential procurement, enterprise development and socioeconomic development.
