Steinhoff International's BEE deal fails

Local furniture retailer Steinhoff International says its proposed Black Economic Empowerment (BEE) transaction has collapsed.

The deal involved the proposed sale of a 20% stake in Steinhoff Africa Holdings to the BEE investor.
