Survey shows improvement in BEE compliance this year

Only 100 out of nearly 400 listed firms scored above 30 percent. Using the Department of Trade and Industry's scoring matrix, the other 300 would be non-compliant contributors.



This means about 25 percent of listed firms are compliant with the broad-based BEE rules. Analysis will be restricted to these top 100 BEE contributors.
