Tiger Brands BEE deal approved

Shareholders of food group Tiger Brands (TBS) on Monday voted in favour of the black economic empowerment transaction, which will result in black management and black staff acquiring a 3.94% direct stake in the group. ..



The total empowerment transaction is valued at about R727m, based on the Tiger Brands share price at the time the deal was originally announced.
