Top firms score poorly on board diversity

A LACK of women and black directors on the boards of South African companies has again been highlighted in a specialist survey, which also raises questions as to some companies' commitment to such steps.

The facts are contained in Board Barometer, a research study of the composition and attitude to good governance among directors of JSE-listed companies.
