Transnet's V&A deal under the spotlight

Mayor Helen Zille has promised to take immediate legal advice on whether a vast chunk of the city's natural heritage has secretly been sold off to foreign interests, as alleged again this weekend.

This follows a call by the DA for a full commission of inquiry into Transnet's R7-billion sale of the V&A Waterfront to a consortium including a Dubai company.
