Tributes pour in for champion of BEE

Durban - Nthato Motlana was a trailblazer, a role model to aspiring black entrepreneurs and ahead of his time. This is how fellow entrepreneurs described the late businessman, who succumbed to cancer yesterday morning. He was 83.



Reminiscing about the man regarded by many as the pioneer of black economic empowerment (BEE), former Black Management Forum (BMF) president Lot Ndlovu said Motlana inspired with his passion and established a firm that represented a step up to economic participation by black people.
