Tutu's Bombshell Interview
Herewith the full text of Brendan Boyle's interview with Archbishop Desmond Tutu which appeared on the paper's front page today:
QUESTION: You said recently "Don't leave the elders with a broken heart" in reaction to recent political developments." Are you broken-hearted?
DESMOND TUTU: [Do I have a] broken heart? Well yes, in part. You don't gloat when somebody bites the dust and when you see that has been done almost deliberately to humiliate. They've been with him nine or something years...they could have done it earlier or have said "He's left with six, seven months; let's clench our teeth and just go on."
