Vodacom CEO says firm won't rush Africa expansion

South Africa's largest mobile operator Vodacom would not aggressively expand into other African countries and pay "super premiums" for access to high growth markets, its head said on Monday.

Demand for African mobile assets is booming as operators from South Africa, Europe and the Middle East pay fat multiples for a slice of some of the world's last unsaturated markets.
