Vodacom to dish out R7.5bn in BEE shares

Vodacom will announce details of its much-anticipated empowerment transaction today that will see R7.5-billion worth of the company being sold to black investors.

Thebe Investment Corp and Royal Bafokeng will be Vodacom's first major black shareholders.
