Vodacom won't delay R7,5bn BEE deal any longer - Knott-Craig

South Africa's biggest cellphone services provider, Vodacom, will struggle with rising costs over the next few months, and hopes to conclude its long-awaited R7,5-billion empowerment deal early next year, it said on Monday.

CEO Alan Knott-Craig said that the company could not delay the black-economic empowerment (BEE) deal any longer, regardless of future potential significant changes in its shareholding.
