We'll do 'whatever it takes' to help Eskom, says BEE coal miner SACMH

New black-economically-empowered coal miner, South Africa Coal Mining Holdings (SACMH), would do what ever it took to help power utility Eskom during this power crisis period, SACMH group executive Melanie Steyn said on Friday.


Speaking ahead of the opening of SACMH's Umlabu Colliery in Mpumalanga, Steyn said that the company had, though its controlling shareholder, the Royal Bafokeng, committed itself to the power utility at the national prices being paid for coal.
