Wescoal wraps up Express acquisition, BEE deal

AltX-listed coal producer Wescoal said on Wednesday that it had successfully completed the acquisition of Atlantis Coal Estate and Express Technology after it received Competition Commission approval.

The acquisition, which was announced last year, would enable Wecoal to expand to the Western Cape. At the time, it said that there was "obvious growth potential" in the Western Cape, as Atlantis held a minor market share.
