Zambia's roads projects said to hold promise for South African companies

The Zambian govern- ment's roads infrastructure rehabilitation programme provides ample opportunity for South African companies, said Zambia Development Agency programme manager Stephen Malubila at a New Partnership for Africa's Development conference in Johannesburg last week.

"Opportunities for infrastructure development in Zambia are plenty, with opportunities in infrastructure, tourism and energy. With increased mining activity, we have also had a tax windfall of close to $1-billion.
