Zuma firm on affirmative action and BEE
ANC President Jacob Zuma has stuck to his guns on affirmative action amid calls from certain quarters that the policy be scrapped because it is having a negative impact on skills.
Zuma told trade union Solidarity, which has been at the forefront of calls for the policy to be phased out, that the country would "import" scarce skills if necessary.
